About Me
Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, I am a Mexican-American student journalist attending Northeastern University's College of Art, Media, and Design's School of Journalism. I am also a Northeastern Torch scholar, a highly-selective fully-comprehensive academic scholarship for first-generation low-income students. I am curious by nature and writer by practice, making journalism my greatest passion. I hope to become news correspondent in the world of politics, with an emphasis on how sociopolitical and economic conflicts affect the common the person. I like to skateboard, read books, and the sun.
"I'm sick of not having the courage to be an absolute nobody."
